Spending many a long hot summer as a child on my grandparent’s farm, it was inevitable that I developed a passion for the environment, the land and a respectful appreciation for nature. Already an accredited Goat Milk Soap-Maker for a number of years, my love for botanic’s was stumbled upon after searching for alternative remedies for my sons eczema a common skin complaint. I furthered my studies which has opened up a whole new world in Natural Skincare and equipped me the tools and skills to create amazing natural Candle and Skincare formulations using eco, environmentally friendly and cruelty free, natural ingredients that care for you and your skin.
Inspiration comes from nature all around me, the journeys of other craftspeople past and present and the simple joy of creating. In my work, I try to showcase the character of the wood, the beauty of the grain, and how different shapes and textures can transform the surface.“
